akan melanjutkan pembahasan tentang bentuk ‘past tense’. Kemain kita telah
belajar bentuk simple past tense. Sekarang mari kita berlanjut ke pembahasan
Past Continous Tense. Serupa dengan Present continuous tense, bentuk ini ditandai dengan bentuk kata kerja (verb word+
-ing) dalam kalimatnya, hanya sajato be yang digunakan merupakan bentuk lampau

kerjanya digunakan untuk menyatakan suatu kejadian yang sedang dilakukan pada
waktu lampau/ dulu atau kejadian yang sedang dilakukan bersamaan dengan
kejadian lain pada waktu lampau. Biasanya
ditandai dengan keterannganwaktu sekarang when
(ketika), last day (hari kemarin), this morning (pagi ini), etc.
